Overview:
The Assisted Living Director (ALD) is the primary leader on-site and is responsible for creating a warm and welcoming environment for residents, prospective residents, and their families. The ALD is expected to work closely with Director of Nursing, assisting in coordinating resident services, marketing, coordinating move ins and move outs, monitoring employee performance, and ensuring compliance with AL regulations. The ALD is responsible for overseeing the successful day-to-day operations of the property.

· Ability to manage multiple projects of varying complexity as part of a fast-paced team
· Proficient with Microsoft Office systems
· Ability to learn new systems for communication, data tracking, etc.
Responsibilities & Objectives:
· Assist in budgeting and monitoring expenses.
· Schedule and lead tours for prospective residents.
· Maintain necessary documentation for every resident file.
· Facilitate all move-ins and move-outs within the building.
· Develop and perform annual employee development plans; helping team grow in their knowledge and execution.
· Train and educate staff in fire and disaster and other emergency procedures.
- Evaluate kitchen operations ensuring the quality and nutrition of meals, and a variety of menus are in place.
- Properly review and document resident and employee grievances.
· Oversee billing & automatic payment services.
· Maximize occupancy through ongoing marketing efforts such as: executing marketing campaigns and creating and updating marketing materials.
· Plan and organize events for residents and prospective residents.
· Create, develop, and maintain policies and procedures while maintaining compliance with government laws and regulations, ensuring successful implementation with staff.
· Recruit, interview, and hire staff and personnel.

Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
