Position Summary:
The Sr Director Finance Transformation is responsible to lead all Finance Transformation Projects in NHSc US, working closely with the NHSc US, NHSc Global, NUSA, and Nestle Group Finance teams to assure a proper set up and excellence in execution. This position will be supporting the integration/divestments of businesses within NHSc US portfolio, while assuring proper adherence to costing and accounting standards and enhancing reporting capabilities for our finance team.
The role will be pivotal in helping NHSc US finance function to continue working cross-functionally to strategize and implement projects and initiatives that will help the organization's journey towards One Operating Mode, to achieve efficiencies in ways of working, enable growth, reduce complexity, and improve our customer experience. This role will be key to build and align on the Finance short-term and long-term Roadmap.
Responsibilities:
The Sr. Director Finance Transformation will lead and empower a team to drive key Finance Transformation projects and ensure smooth transition, while being able to influence his/her cross-functional partners. Key activities include:
- Drive strategic alignment and supervise execution of key initiatives ranging from Business model optimization, business integrations, and SAP implementations.
- Be a liaison between Business stakeholders and IT organization to secure a smooth project delivery and/or integrations (including Blueprint, MAT, Training etc).
- Key player for cut-over processes during business integrations and divestitures to ensure ledger accuracy and completeness through different validation processes.
- Enhance management reporting that can be shared across the organization to support the needs of NSHc, which has multiple company codes, legal entities, management structures.
- Success for this role will require strong partnership with all finance community, at the same time it is critical the role has a strong partnership with all other cross functional functions (IT, Sales, Supply Chain, Sales).
- Support strategizing and providing though leadership for implementation of current projects.
- Work on future Roadmap and continuous improvement projects (e.g. enhanced reporting)
- Act as a SPOC with NUSA and NHSc Global Finance Transformation team.
- People Management, leading a team of ~4-5 people.
Requirements & Skills:
- Bachelor Degree in Finance or Accounting required; MBA a plus
- 10+ years of experience in Financial controlling or Business Controlling; Project management a plus
- Previous Experience in Controlling, Operations and Business Controlling team within the Consumer Goods/F&B
- Business Co-pilot experience
- Strong business and financial acumen
- People Management Skills
- Detail oriented and able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong analytical skills
- Advanced Excel skills
- Ability to effectively utilize other software packages such as Access, and PowerPoint
- Proven ability to communicate financial information to non-financial personnel
