Responsibilities
Lead Generation Strategy
- Lead the franchise system’s Direct Mail program; including strategic planning and execution, list modelling, creative planning, testing strategy, and performance optimization.
- Pilot and launch new lead generation channels such as email, outbound calling.
- Lead technical data flow processes.
- Introduce Direct Mail innovations through MarTech/AI/digital capabilities.
- Manage all relevant marketing vendors.
- Support Co-op programs.
Customer Service
- Be the resident Direct Mail consultant advising franchisees.
- Create internal communication plans to promote and advocate for lead generation programs.
- Promote lead generation programs with sales team.
Analysis & Reporting
- Frequent measurement and synthesis of media KPIs.
- Take advantage of consumer insights and data to advise plans.
- Partner with internal & external teams to enhance reporting infrastructure.
- Optimize campaigns “in the moment” to deliver immediate results and develop action plans.
- Use Excel to forecast and analyze metrics.
- Develop and deliver strategy performance presentations.
- Hold agency accountable to performance results.
Education, Experience, and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, communications or another related field.
- 4+ years of offline lead generation planning
- Experience in a B2C or retail marketing environment required.
- Direct mail experience preferred.
- Experience in a media agency or management of media agency preferred.
Required Skills & Competencies
- Proven experience developing and executing large-scale lead generation programs across a range of channels, e.g., Direct Mail.
- Understanding of full funnel media and customer journeys, and the art and science of media planning
- Well-versed in lead generation performance metrics (CPL/CPA/ROI) with the ability to draw meaningful insights to optimize plans while showcasing how these insights accomplish new customer acquisition goals.
- Ability to balance a big picture mindset with the key execution priorities of the business.
- Experience leading peers or cross-functional teams.
- Customer centric mentality.
- Fosters creative and innovative ideas through an entrepreneurial spirit.

As a Senior Marketing Specialist, you will be responsible for winning new customers through our current Direct Mail program in addition to launching innovative lead generation programs. You will partner and support franchisees with their offline / local marketing efforts to deliver solutions and results that support sustainable store growth.
A successful candidate will come to us with experience in a medium-sized retail organization. You will have the ability to partner effectively with cross-functional leadership to deliver quality marketing solutions and superior customer service to our franchise system.
