Direct Mail Manager, Marketing
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Direct mail Manager to join our marketing team. The Direct Mail Manager will work within the Marketing team at Heartland to establish process and governance to the execution of Direct Mail (postcards) across all of our supported dental practices. Successful individuals will be process oriented, have strong attention to detail, be a solid communicator both verbally and through slide presentations, and have some experience with Direct Mail, the USPS, or ordering printed marketing materials on behalf of stakeholders.
Heartland Dental LLC (“Heartland Dental”), the nation’s largest dental support organization (“DSO”) providing non-clinical, administrative support services to more than 2,700 dentists practicing in 1,700+ locations across 38 states is seeking a Direct Mail Manager for it’s Marketing team in our St Louis, MO Corporate Office.
The Direct Mail Manager is an individual contributor role that reports to the Sr. Director of Acquisition Marketing. They will work closely with multiple areas of the business including Marketing, Procurement, Operations, and IT.
Below is an overview of the duties and responsibilities you would take on in this role:
Govern and improve end-to-end ordering process of advertising postcards for 1700 dental offices across the US
- Serve as central point of contact for marketing strategists, handling the placement of all Direct Mail orders
- Develop and implement intake process to receive and review orders from field teams
- Execute A/B testing protocols as outlined by the Marketing Analytics team to optimize the effectiveness of Direct Mail campaigns
- Conduct thorough proofreading of all mail content prior to printing
- Cultivate and maintain a strong working relationship with the Direct Mail vendor, serving as the day to day contact and owner for all aspects of the partnership
- Collaborate with the marketing analytics team to procure tracking numbers and QR URLs for all mail
- Partner with Legal and Design to ensure all cards include proper disclaimers and legal policies
- Instill a culture of precision and punctuality, aiming for 100% accuracy and on-time delivery for office Direct Mail
- Address inquiries from Marketing Strategists promptly regarding the status and details of mail orders for their respective offices
- Enforce contractual polices such as credits, refunds, SLAs, ect across entire Direct Mail program
- Procure and implement Heartland CRID with USPS and mail vendor
- Deliver regular updates to Marketing Strategists, offering insights into the performance of mail campaigns and notifying them of any changes in the process
- Verify timely mail delivery through USPS reporting and conduct rigorous quality assurance on all incoming invoices from mail vendor
Minimum Requirements:
Remote; Preferred St. Louis MO near manager and rest of team; Travel approx. 1x per month to STL office in Creve Coeur and/or Effingham IL Headquarters- Minimum of 3+ years of experience in related discipline
- Strong technical skills with Microsoft PowerPoint & Excel (Macros, xlookups, IF statements, and PivotTables a must)
