Support Center - Irving
The Senior Designer will work closely with Creative Services Design Managers and the Marketing Team to develop and produce Seasonal & Holiday Tool Kits/Style Campaign Guides based on business strategic needs. This Team Member will deliver strong creative that will translate to all media channels. This person will work in sync with writers and the creative services team to ensure we provide a seamless "product" to our business partners. The Senior Designer will confidently present concepts and ideas to management and internal clients. This Team Member will mentor junior designers and will pave the path to creative management positions.
Major Activities
- Develop seasonal and event campaigns to be used by all channels and partners.
- Work with manager and marketing partners to bring business strategy to life.
- Design and present a range of creative concepts that deliver the expectations and options that continue to push Michaels to the next level and are still on brand.
- Mentor graphic designers while balancing personal workflow and priorities.
- Work across channels to drive a consistent customer brand experience.
- Adhere to established processes and provide suggestions for improvement.
- Take on added responsibility when necessary to meet urgent business needs.

Minimum Education
- Bachelor's or Associates degree
- Graphic Design, Advertising, Marketing
Minimum Special Certifications or technical skills
- Proficient in Current Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator), Microsoft Office
Minimum Type of experience the job requires
- 5 years: major retail marketing dept
- Multi-channel campaign development
