Westmoor Manufacturing, a family-owned company located in Dallas/Fort Worth, is looking for a Senior Technical Designer to join our creative team in the exciting task of developing Rock and Roll Denim, Panhandle, and Powder River Outfitters fashion for men, women, and children. Responsibilities:
- Manage/Mentor others in providing technical expertise in the areas of pattern development, technical construction specification and fabrications to ensure all product is completed accurately and within specified timelines
- Drive problem-solving with cross-functional teams to proactively resolve pattern, construction, quality, finishing, findings, and systems issues
- Guide development and implementation of new and current fit blocks for traditional sampling and 3D design
- Adopt new skills to facilitate implementation of new technology, systems, and tools. Assist to identify and deploy best practices on team and cross functionally
- Develop technical fit of assigned categories
- Mentor factory Technical Designers to develop understanding of pattern and fit standards
- Produce accurate specification packages including sketch details, base size specifications, and graded measurements which adhere to established fit and construction standards
- Coordinate and lead fit sessions on body form and model to assess fit, proportion, and overall silhouette
- Review and resolve bulk production quality issues as needed
- Travel as needed to evaluate bulk goods and mentor suppliers

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design/Technical Design/Apparel Manufacturing
- 10+ years Technical Design experience
- Comprehensive knowledge of production patternmaking, technical fit, and construction standards
- 2+ years Management/Mentoring
- Proficient in Illustrator and Photoshop
- Experience in denim development a plus
- PLM and 3D sampling a plus
