Nature and Scope
The Senior Content Lead will be responsible for creating, editing, maintaining, updating, and teaching Financial Planning Education content. In addition, they will work with course instructors and engage in thought leadership.
Roles and Responsibilities:

Content Development (70%)

• Lead content development and delivery for at least 4 Financial Planning courses.
• Coordinate content maintenance and development with cross-functional teams.
• Develop and update written materials, videos, assessments, and case studies.
• Review content for formatting, accuracy of calculations, and basic technical competency.
• Stay informed of legal, political, economic, and other contextual changes related to key Financial Planning areas and proactively develop and update content as necessary.
• Develop/maintain subject matter expertise in Financial Planning.

Teaching (15%)

• At least once per year, the Senior Content Lead will teach the courses they lead.
• Overload teaching may be available for additional compensation.

Instructor Supervision and Development (10%)

• Regularly meet and engage with instructors and students.
• In partnership with faculty operations, assess and develop instructors.
• Develop and update training visuals, graphics, and facilitator guides for instructors.

Thought Leadership (5%)

• Engage with the profession through academic, trade, and/or popular outlets that may include written publications, conferences, and other media.

Essential Qualification Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of professional Financial Planning experience.
• Minimum of 3 years of teaching experience (online classroom experience preferred).
• An understanding of best practices in the fields of professional education and online adult education.
• Familiar with online education tools and platforms such as Zoom, Webex, or Teams.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and with close attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to positively represent CeriFi during live classes, at industry events, and in various forms of media.

At Least One of the Following Education Requirements:

• CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification.
• M.S. or Ph.D. in Financial Planning or related discipline.
• CFA, CPA, M.S. in Accounting or Taxation, or JD.
