Job Description
Position Summary:
The PECO Data ManagementSenior Clerk will operate with a high level of integrity and ethics in a fast paced, deadline driven, and team-oriented environment. This position supports the Data Management Team, Transportation Team, and Asset Management Team, as well as all other departments at PECO Pallet by updating data in various systems in a time-sensitive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Creating new users in PECO’s customer-facing web portal.
- Maintaining counterparty data (contacts, addresses, phone numbers, emails, etc.) across multiple systems.
- Onboarding new locations and customers – The Clerk will enter and synchronize customer data across multiple systems.
- Enabling others as they process physical inventory counts at PECO customers by providing and updating data in our systems.
- Support the Transportation Team by coordinating Freight Pay and Audit activities, with responsibility for providing a preliminary review of systemically disputed freight invoices.
- Assist the Mapping Specialist with daily monitoring and review of open EDI transactions:
- Extensive use of “Google Research” of business addresses and other pertinent information.
- Ongoing communication and interaction with PECO’s Service Team to research missing information and eliminate data gaps.
- Continuous maintenance of system data.
- Update job knowledge by participating in development, training, and mentorship opportunities.
Misc.
- Use MS Office programs (including intermediate knowledge of Outlook, Excel, Access, and other business applications) to perform daily job functions.
- Develop working knowledge of PECO’s internal systems.
- Perform other duties as needed.

- Ability to work effectively both independently as well as part of a team within the Data Management department and cross-functionally.

Qualifications:
- High school diploma required / some college preferred.
- Prior experience using internet research skills is highly desirable.
- 1-2 years’ experience in a professional environment.
- Computer knowledge including MS office (Outlook, Excel, Word, Power Point).
Environment/Physical Demands:
Work is done in an office and issedentary work that primarily involves sitting up to 8 hours while working on a computer.
Travel:
• Limited travel based on business needs such as collaboration meetings in the office.
