Senior Analyst, Finance & Tax Transformation
The Finance & Tax Technology team acts as a service organization created in response to the growing burden of data management. The objective of the team is to develop effective solutions that harness the power of data and reduce the burden of data wrangling on tax and finance professionals providing them the time to focus on what they do best.
The Finance & Tax Transformation Senior Analyst will work to create efficiencies throughout the Tax & Finance departments by enabling end users through processes improvement and facilitating technology adoption.
How You Will Make a Difference:
Utilize 70 percent of your time to support and lead execution of project implementations, process improvements and technology initiatives.
Assist in accessing disparate data sources (databases, XMLs, and flat files) and applying internal and external business rules, policies, and data quality measures.
Spend 30 percent of your time to support and resolve issues relating to applications managed and developed by the Finance & Tax Technology team including, but not limited to IBM Db2 Database, SQL Server Database, SharePoint, Microsoft Power Apps, and custom programming scripts.
Maintain data and technology infrastructure and ensure the timely availability of quality data and tools to support the tax and finance department.
Collaborate with associates across the tax and finance departments on project identification, design, and implementation.
Explore emerging technologies for potential implementation.
Years of Related Professional Experience: 3-5 years
Position Requirements:
Strong analytical mindset
Knowledge of one or more of the following: Power Apps, Power BI, SQL, Python, or any ETL tool
Passion for technology and its use in business processes
Ability to understand and transform business requirements into technical requirements and determine an appropriate course of action
Demonstrated ability for testing, debugging and issue resolution
Understand and communicate complex topics to both business and technical users
Ability to work on multiple projects and work productively in a team environment
Nice to Have:
Work experience in an accounting, finance, or tax function
An advanced degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or STEM field

Hiring Range:
$68,000.00 USD - $85,000.00 USD annually
Incentive Potential : This position is eligible for additional compensation awards that may include an annual incentive plan, sales incentive, or commission potential. Specific details of the additional compensation eligibility for this position will be provided during the recruiting and interview process.
