-Must have these qualifications: Experience working in Cobol, Mainframe development, JCL & DB2
This team will not have separate teams handling the product, they will be responsible for the full lifecycle of the project including conversions
Banking and finance is a must have
DB2 and Cobol are a must have
Prior contractor was a Sr Mainframe Specialist with over 4 years of experience.
Prior to that this person was a Programmer Analyst for over 10 years
Prior contractor tech stack:
COBOL / JCL / CICS / VSAM / TSO - ISPF / IMS DB / FTP / ENDEAVOR / DB2 / SPUFI / QMF / SQL / Toad for Oracle / File Manager / File Aid / MQseries / UNiverse Retrieve / DTCN / Debug / Intertest/Tracemaster/ Splunk/ IDZ
Interview Process: 1st interview panel 1 hour, 2nd round 1 hour interview with one of technicians on the team
When: Manager is ready to interview now
Typical Workday Schedule: Typical would be 8-4 CST, but that is not a requirement. Candidate can come from any time zone
Length of Contract: 6 Months, at which time they will either let go or convert
