The Senior Pricing Analyst will be responsible for supporting ETE’s pricing strategy across all product lines. This role will have a wide degree of latitude to improve our tactical and strategic pricing structure. The Senior Pricing Analyst will be involved in maintaining industry pricing standards, obtaining competitors pricing and compare to ETE’s pricing, monitor pricing to meet profit margin targets, provide pricing recommendations as they develop and support new product development. The Senior Pricing Analyst will collaborate cross-functionally with Sales and Production teams to provide pricing recommendations to the FP&A Manager and senior leadership.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Analyze and understand industry market trends, competitor tactics and offerings, products, margin opportunities, and communicate to management as necessary
- Research and aggregate competitor price data and provide analysis and reporting
- Work with Sales to execute product price strategies including segment strategies for the various markets and channels
- Monitor and update price lists
- Perform margin analysis to identify opportunities to optimize profitability through pricing strategy
- Partner with production to understand supply chain and cost inputs and align pricing strategy to ensure growth
- Assist in developing pricing logic for products
- Independently develop new models, charts, and dashboards in Excel and PowerBI
- Maintain a system of documentation, communication and review of our pricing strategy and the competitive landscape
- Manage price change execution
- Maintain pricing for all operating systems
- Help resolve escalated discrepancies relating to data integrity and pricing issues.
- Understands ETE core values and leads by example.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years pricing, finance, finance analytics or similar experience.
- Bachelor’s degree required (preferably in Accounting or Finance).
- Strong analytical toolkit that makes use of business intelligence and reporting software.
- Demonstrates solid execution and project management skills. Has the ability to prioritize and work effectively in a fast-paced environment that is subject to changing priorities and short deadlines.
- Strong consultation skills - must be an effective communicator, strong collaborator and possess the ability to influence at all levels.
- High level of professional integrity and discretion.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, OneNote, Outlook, PowerPoint, Publisher, SharePoint and Work).
