```Duties```
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
- Assist in the month-end and year-end close processes
- Conduct financial forecasting and budgeting activities
- Ensure compliance with accounting principles and standards, as well as SOX regulations
- Manage the general ledger and perform reconciliations
- Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
- Review and approve journal entries and expense reports
- Assist with payroll processing and ensure accurate recording of employee compensation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support financial reporting needs
- Provide guidance and support to junior accounting staff
```Experience```
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in corporate accounting or public accounting
- Strong knowledge of technical accounting principles and practices
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks)
- Experience with financial forecasting and budgeting processes
- Familiarity with SOX compliance requirements
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
- Strong understanding of general ledger accounting, debits, credits, and journal entries
