Seaside Dining Group is looking for a talented, driven, and growth-oriented leader to oversee all aspects of our internal Finance and Accounting functions including financial planning & analysis, accounting, treasury, tax, and audit.

This leader will be added to our Executive Leadership Team which drives day-to-day and strategic organizational planning and execution.
Supervisory Responsibilities
- Will, directly or indirectly, oversee the scheduling, assignments, and daily workflow of all staff in the finance and accounting departments
- Will prepare and deliver timely performance evaluations.
Qualifications
- BA/BS in Finance, Business, Accounting, or a related field required
- CPA required
- Minimum 10 years of experience with a strong basis in Finance, FP&A, and quantitative analysis
- Minimum 5 years of direct supervisory experience
- Expert knowledge of business accounting practices preferably in the hospitality/restaurant business
- Excellent finance and accounting software skills, including financial modeling and all aspects of advanced MS Excel
- Experience with successfully recruiting, building, and developing a highly qualified team
- Previous experience working in a dynamic environment with the aptitude to support key stakeholders outside of finance such as Operations, Human Resources, Information
- Technology, and Facilities Maintenance
- Ability to align financial programs with the overall business strategy, ensuring that they support organizational goals and objectives
- Demonstrated acumen in the execution of strategic initiatives

Key Responsibilities
- Management of all internal and external finance resources including hiring and managing new 3rd party vendors and employees to successfully execute the finance and accounting function of the enterprise
- Oversee daily, weekly, and monthly accounting for the organization leveraging internal and external resources
- Lead weekly, monthly, and quarterly financial reporting leveraging resources including preparing quarterly reports and financial covenant calculations for lenders
- Guide, with the assistance of the IT department, the implementation and upgrade of accounting and financial software
- Leads monthly reviews of the P&L with the management team and provides guidance on items causing performance variance from budgets and prior periods
- Assist with the development of organizational and departmental budgets
- Drive accounting efficiencies and develop new innovative processes to accounting procedures to shorten period-end reporting
- Oversee tax strategy leveraging internal and external resources
- Identify and resolve revenue-related issues promptly
- Focus financial reporting on identifying opportunities and issues,
- Through financial analysis, model revenue and cost drivers, implement recommendations that will drive profitable revenue growth
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable functions
- Evaluate existing cash reporting and data management routines and lead ongoing process improvement agenda to develop more advanced company-wide cash flow pacing routines to provide better line-of-sight to quarterly and full-year financial results
- Establish approved objectives, financial plans, budgets, and revenue forecasting that will drive profitable revenue growth across different businesses
- Forecast monthly revenues, identify, and communicate, and implement growth opportunities for leaders
- Develop and enforce internal controls to support revenue management activities
- Stay abreast of current market trends and patterns and act accordingly
- Partners with Operations, Development, Marketing, IT, and Human Resources to identify opportunities in key business areas including, but not limited to: payroll and labor utilization, inventory and food cost, new restaurant growth, capital spending, development, restaurant operating costs, and other areas which may not yet be defined
