Senior Accountant/Accounting Manager

Full-time (This position is in-office during standard business hours Monday-Friday.)
Pay:
$75,000 - $100,000 annually, depending on experience

We are seeking a Senior Accountant/Accounting Manager who has extensive experience with month-end close, financial reporting, reconciliations, financial analysis, payroll, A/P, A/R, labor cost allocations/job costing and insurance billing. Perform other accounting tasks as given by the CEO and take an active participation in accounting projects.
Job Description:
We are looking for a Senior Accountant/Accounting Manager.
Perform day to day financial transactions including verifying, classifying, computing, posting, and recording data.
Support the company in optimizing our financial transactions by performing reconciliations of vendors and customer accounts.
Communicate any discrepancy to management.
Reconcile the accounts receivable and payable ledger to ensure that all the payments are accounted for and posted accurately and timely. Verify any discrepancy by resolving client’s billing issues. Facilitate payments of invoices due by sending bills and reminders.
Maintain records to ensure aging is up to date, credits and collections are applied, uncollected amounts are accounted for, and miscellaneous differences are cleared off.
Perform daily cash management duties including recording of bank deposits, posting cash receipts and updating ledgers.
Maintains and updates customer files, including name, number, address, insurance information etc.
Process AP invoices by inputting them into the accounting software.
Must have experience with computerized accounting software application, including, but not limited to: Excel, QuickBooks, Power BI and SQL.
Creates reports required.
Protects organization’s values by keeping information confidential.
