As a Senior Accountant, you will play a vital role in managing our financial operations and ensuring accurate financial reporting. You will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day accounting activities, conducting financial analysis, preparing financial statements, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to support business decisions.
Responsibilities:
- Complete bookkeeping for the entire accounting cycle
- Conduct monthly, quarterly, and annual financial analysis and reporting
- Prepare accurate and timely financial statements and reports
- Collaborate with the management team to develop and implement financial strategies and goals
- Ensure compliance with accounting policies, procedures, and regulations
- Handle the accounting posting and journal entry processes
- Perform variance analysis and provide insights on financial performance
- Lead and mentor junior accounting staff
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- Minimum [3] years of experience as a Senior Accountant or similar role in the retail industry
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and regulations
- Proficient in using accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP)
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in data entry and analysis
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Experience in managing and mentoring a team is a plus
