SalaryAppodeal Stack is hiring a Senior Accountant to join our high-caliber Finance Team.
The Senior Accountant will be a highly detail-oriented, self-starter who thrives within a fast-paced startup environment.
Primary responsibilities:
- Manage month-end close process.
- Applies a broad knowledge of advanced accounting methods and procedures.
- Prepare various complex reconciliations, schedules, and reports.
- Responsible for bank account and credit card reconciliations.
- Responsible for accounts payable, billing collections
- Lead monthly and year-end financial close, including assigned journal entries, balance sheets, account reconciliations, and accruals.
- Responding to information requests and assisting with audits.
- Analyze and summarize account information and trends.
- Projects and other duties as assigned.
Educational/Other Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting (Active CPA or pursuing CPA preferred).
- 3+ years of senior-level accounting experience.
- Familiarity with U.S Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Excellent organizational and analytical skills and ability to multi-task and work independently.
- An eye to identify and build efficiencies into current processes.
- Strong knowledge and proficiency with Excel and advanced NetSuite experience are a must.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
