Job Description Summary:A Global Law Firm is seeking a senior-level Associate or counsel candidate with 7+ years of experience at a law firm and/or a financial institution to work in its Financial Regulatory and Technology Group (FRTG). The FRTG handles cutting edge bank regulatory, consumer protection, non-bank and fintech, digital asset and payments matters. The ideal candidate will have wide-ranging experience with advising on (i) Financial Regulatory matters centered around banking operations, payments and online financial services including experience with ACH and NACHA transactions; (ii) consumer and commercial finance, including residential mortgage lending, auto finance and retail installment sales contracts, (iii) investment brokerage activities, (iv) electronic contracting and the transformation of financial products and services to a digital environment, (v) a broad range of federal and state laws and regulations specific to financial services institutions (such as consumer compliance laws, anti-money laundering laws, ESIGN, UETA and the Uniform Commercial Code). Previous financial institution experience a plus.

Physical Demands, Work Environment, and Other Requirements
Sedentary work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally, and all other sedentary criteria are met.
Work Environment:
- Hybrid with some in-office expectations or remote (as appropriate)
