Performs various financial reporting requirements and responsibilities, including drafting financial statements and related disclosures for SEC/other periodic filings, performing accounting research, and assisting in other ad hoc projects. A typical day might include:
Preparation and/or review of Regeneron’s financial statements, disclosures, and related supporting schedules in connection with Form 10-K, Form 10-Q, and earnings release filings. Ensuring SEC and other filings are accurately prepared and in compliance with U.S. generally accepted accounting principles (U.S. GAAP) and other regulatory requirements.
Responsible for preparation and/or review of the Regeneron’s Annual Proxy Statement, Responsibility Report, and other filings/reports that include financial information and other business updates
Effectively working and communicating with various departments across the organization, including Finance, Legal, Tax, Human Resources, Treasury, etc.
Assisting in the implementation of new accounting pronouncements and in research related to accounting/disclosure matters
Effectively research U.S. GAAP accounting guidance for new, complex, or unusual transactions, and be able to communicate/document the Company's accounting treatment for such transactions
Researching and analyzing industry and competitor trends
Collaborates closely with external auditors on a number of matters, including their review of the financial statements
Other ad hoc projects, such as assessing SOX controls and updating related documentation, updating company policies and procedures, streamlining processes, etc. This role may be for you if you have:

High proficiency with Microsoft applications is required.

We seek an individual who possesses general understanding of U.S. GAAP and SEC rules and regulations. Knowledge of Oracle is a plus.

Salary Range (annually) $81,000.00 - $132,200.00
