Through acquisitions and organic growth, Century is going through a period of investment. This role will be critical in sustaining the monthly closing process and preparing monthly financial statements. This position will play an important role in helping Century migrate through the inflection point.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead the accounting team with preparing the monthly financial statements including consolidation, fluctuation analysis, and review.- Assist and support annual audit for multiple entities
- Prepare and update accounting policies
- Prepare and analyze reconciliations and schedules for monthly closing
- Prepare fixed asset schedule and monthly depreciation entries
- Monthly reconciliation of inter-company accounts
- Reconcile monthly bank accounts
- Assist with budget vs actual reporting/analysis
- Prepare loan amortization schedules and interest accruals
- Work with accounting team in support of implementation of new ERP system in 2024
KNOWLEDGE AND ESSENTIAL SKILLS
Experience with preparing journal entries, schedules and reconciliations.- Experience in multi-company environment preferred, not required.
- Experience with Microsoft Excel and Word.

EDUCATION AND/OR WORK EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting- 3-5 years accounting department experience
- Preferred industry background includes financial service or industries with high volume of transactional data. Will accept candidates with experience in industries with complex transactions or analytical needs.
