We are seeking Security Planners at all levels of experience (Junior thru Senior and SME) to support the United States Army Pacific Command (USARPAC) Task Order (TO). We are currently assembling our team of experienced professionals with a broad range of intelligence, operations, planning, data, training, and logistics solutions on an enterprise scale to advance technical capabilities and maximize the effectiveness of USARPAC programs, operations, and partnerships throughout the USARPAC Area of Responsibility (AOR).
Job Description:
The Security Planner plans, develops, manages, and supports the planning and operational services to support security cooperation programs and initiatives such as Significant Security Cooperation Initiatives (SSCIs) in Thailand, the Philippines, Nepal, the East China Sea, and other locations as required. Manages activities with foreign security forces and their institutions to build relationships that help promote U.S. interests; enable PNs to provide the U.S. access to territory, infrastructure, information, and resources; and/or build and develop capacity and capabilities.
Duties:
- Coordinates and liaisons with relevant U.S. DoS and DoD organizations and entities to include the Defense Security Cooperation Agency (DSCA), Office of the Deputy Assistant Secretary of the Army
- Defense Export and Control (DASA DE&C), United States Army Security Assistance Command (USASAC), USINDOPACOM, Security Cooperation Offices in U.S. embassies, and USARPAC subordinate units.
- Provides TACP strategic partnering, integration, and engagement support for USARPAC, USINDOPACOM, and foreign liaison activities.
- Facilitates regional security cooperation activities such as exchanges or visits Advance PN capacity and capabilities through the provision of training and equipment and include a series of Title 10 (e.g., Section 333) programs build partnerships with foreign nations by providing military and equipment training to enhance PNs’ capabilities within each of the GCCs.
- Assists in training and teaching of partner forces in various adverse environments
Qualifications
Required Education and Experience:
- Bachelors and five (5)+ years’ of experience; additional four (4) years of experience accepted in lieu of degree
