Apparel Senior Sales Account Executive

We are a family owned and operated wholesale apparel manufacturer with a mission to deliver trend focused products for over 30 years in dresses and separates. We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic team member to join our company in the apparel & fashion industry as a women’s apparel salesperson. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about fashion and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will come with their own existing account list but will also be able to seek out and land new accounts. Potential to manage company in-house accounts.

Responsibilities:

• Sell to and manage large/high volume retail accounts, (Macy's and others).
• Understand and have knowledge of the styles and colors of junior’s and missy silhouettes and fabrics
• Seek out new opportunities with our active retail accounts
• Prospect and create new business plans with retailers that we are not currently servicing.
• Report weekly selling, analyze sales by style, class and customer
• Manage market prep and appointments and post-market responsibilities
• Track orders from start to finish
• Roll up and analyze buy post market
• Monitor market trends and identify future business opportunities and profitability
• Contribute to and create presentations and line sheets for market
• Maintain look of the showroom to ensure it is tidy and organized at all times
• Set up showroom for meetings and assist with any meeting related tasks
• Contribute positively to team dynamic and manage up where necessary

Skills and Requirements:

• 5 years related experience in wholesale apparel sales
• Previous experience with major department stores required
• Must be proficient in Excel, Outlook
• Superior organizational skills and excellent communication skills; team oriented
• Strong follow-up skills
• Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
• Highly detail oriented and meticulous
• Proactive self-starter
• Bachelor's Degree preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $100,000.00 per year
