Brief Summary of Duties:

• Patrolling and monitoring activities on the company’s premises regularly to discourage theft and ensure the facility is safe and secure

• Ensure all employees, visitors and contractors have a badge and are not armed prior to entry into the facility

• Controlling the entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and contractors via a metal detector and in accordance with EPC physical security protocols

• Monitoring surveillance cameras to watch out for any disruptions or unlawful activities

• Warns violators of rule infractions, such as loitering, smoking, or carrying forbidden articles and assists management in emergency situations

Skills and/or Education Requirements:

• Able to be licensed within St Charles County Missouri as a Watchman (company paid certification)

• Adequate physical fit and able to perform daily activities with optimal performance, endurance, and strength

• Good verbal and written communication skills

• Good situational awareness, understanding the work environment, recognizing potential threats, and able taking preventative action against them

• Can not be related to or in a relationship with an EPC employee

• Ability to react appropriately in stressful situations

Experience Required:

• Must be 21 years or older

• Must have a clean criminal record

Experience and/or Education Preferred:

• Security guard or similar work experience

• Excellent communications skills

• Emotionally stable
