Security Guard Warehouse - Now Hiring!

• Belton/Grandview area

Starting Compensation: $16.00 hr.
*includes eligibility for company benefits
Shift hours/Schedule(s):

• Thursdays through Mondays: all shifts working 3:00 pm - 11:00 pm (nights/2nd shift)

*Days off - Tuesday and Wednesday (40 hours per week)

About the job:

• Excellent customer service is always your top priority.
• You observe, survey the area, and provide reporting on the activity at your assigned location.
• You provide rapid response in critical situations.
• You know when and how to enforce customer procedures, regulations, and standards.
• Monitor metal detectors and enforce no beep policy.
• Investigate and report security incidents.
• Conduct bag checks at the metal detector post.
• Provide excellent customer service to employees and contractors.
• Patrol the facility ensuring doors are secured.
• Recommend any changes to management regarding better safety processes identified during daily routine.
• Escalate emergency situations to site supervisor and law enforcement as needed.
• Maintain shift activity log and complete incident reports and required documentation for all security incidents.

Your background:

• You have a high school education or equivalent (GED).
• You're able to pass an extensive screening process.
• Ability to twist, turn, bend, stand, climb stairs, and walk as required to perform duties associated with being a functioning security officer.
• Calm and professional behavior.
• Reliable and self-motivated.
• Ability to facilitate progressive change.
• Ability to work with a sense of urgency.
• Ability to work as part of a team and follow directions.
• High level of customer service skills exemplifying GARDAWORLD's Mission Statement and Company Values.
