We're looking for people who care about people. As an Social Worker at Elim, you'll be required to:
- Provide assessment and consultation with Special Education Teachers to assist with social/emotional goal development and implementation, including creation of materials for classroom use and assist with transition plan and paperwork
- Provide daily assessment and consultation with Autism Program Staff regarding students' social skill expression and development, functional and adaptive behavior, in the school environment.
- Collaborate and consult with professional staff to develop visual systems and in-home supports based on family's identified needs (sensory needs, visual schedules, communication opportunities, behavioral techniques)
- Write goals and objectives of each IEP for students as needed

Hours:
Monday - Friday 8:15 am - 3:15 pm
Includes a 6 week extended school year
Wages & Benefits:* Competitive starting range of $74,000/yr (more with experience and education)
* Includes $9,549 for 6 week ESY session
* $2,000 sign on bonus

Education, Licenses & Certifications:
* Master's Degree in Social Work
* ISBE PEL with Type 73 license
* LSW or LCSW certification
