The School Operations Support Specialist, performs and supports various aspects of the national School Operations with an emphasis on compliance activities at all levels, internal and external to the Stride organization.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential duties.
- Maintains student records and data; creates and implements documents and processes that ensure student data validity in Stride and 3rd party databases.
- Manages compliance within student records for Special Programs, including medical records, HLS, Gifted and Talented, etc.
- Works with office and administrative staff to ensure the school is in compliance with and meets all audit requirements, for Stride, the District and the State.
- Assists with communication between SC Learns and families related to student enrollments, withdrawals and student records;
- Supports data and logistics of major school events, such as Enrollment, Semester End Transition, Year End Transition, and State Testing.
- Assists with communication between SC Learns and staff/teachers, including maintaining knowledge base for staff training and support.
Supervisory Responsibilities: This position has no formal supervisory responsibilities.
MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma AND
- Four (4) years of relevant work experience OR
- Equivalent combination of education and experience
Certificates and Licenses: None required.
OTHER REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Great organizational and time management skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong technology skills
- Experience using search engines (internet) for research projects
- Experience using a student information system and/or other type of database
- Proficient in MS Excel, MSWord, and Outlook
- Ability to clear required background check
Residency Requirement: Must be a South Carolina resident
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree

- This is a home-based position. This position is open to residents of South Carolina. Travel to quarterly Operations Team events may be required.
