Patient Centered Services is in search of School Nurses to deliver empathetic healthcare services within a school environment. The Registered Nurse (RN) offers guidance on students' overall well-being and strategies for disease prevention. In the role of School RN, you will be tasked with evaluating students' physical conditions in the school setting and facilitating referrals to necessary resources for their success.

- Promotes healthy practices for student success in general education
- Provides professional nursing services as per State Professional Practices Nursing
- Acts in accordance with School Nurse certification requirements
- Coordinates with special services personnel to support students
- Communicates health issues with administrators, teachers, and staff while adhering to HIPAA and federal laws
- Follows district policies on health, emergencies, accidents, drug abuse, and bullying
- Notifies relevant parties about confirmed communicable diseases as per district policy
- Writes legal reports, including assessment planning and Health History/Medical Review
- Develops policies, procedures, and work standards for the school health program
- Screens, conducts health appraisals, and provides follow-up evaluations for students and staff
- BSN
- Maryland RN License
- American Heart Association BLS
- 1 year experience in pediatrics
