SalaryJob Responsibilities:
- Nursing care of student(s) at assigned Health Suite in a School
- Work Hours are from 8am-4:00pm Monday to Friday(varies based on school times)
- Ensure students with prescribed medications are administered during school hours as ordered
- Nursing responsibility to triage and treat students with injuries
Skills:
- Ability to assess, follow doctors orders, and care for School aged child(ren)
- Ability to work with children of all ages
- Ability to administer medications during school hours
- Ability to perform prescribed treatments for any student(s)
Education:
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) current for Maryland
- Associate degree or Bachelors Degree and/or graduation from an accredited School of Nursing Program
- Current CPR, BLS, and Active Nursing License to practice in Maryland
* Prior experience with School Nursing Preferred but not mandatory.
* Bilingual (Spanish Speaking) a plus*
