We have an exciting opportunity for a Scheduling Coordinator to assist with our supply chain activity at our York, NE production facility. This role will be on-site at the Corteva location.
What You’ll Do:
- Utilize systems such as SAP/R3 as a fundamental basis of performing the job.
- Provide coordination of expedites with customer service, inter-company schedulers, and vendors using internal system.
- Proactively plan/enable orders and services to be delivered on time while managing conflicting priorities.
- Optimize inventory levels of raw materials, finished goods and packaging.
- Supply information to customer service and inter-company schedulers regarding status of all order fulfillment activities.
- Work closely with production, field, maintenance, quality, and inter-company schedulers to schedule and establish priorities of production process orders (PPOs).
- Gather data and assist with other activities for continuous improvement projects.
- Various other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Education:
- You have your High School diploma or GED equivalent.
What Skills You Need:
- You are willing and able to work in a variety of areas (plant, warehouse).
- You are willing and able to stand and sit for extended periods.
- You have good verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
- You have good teamwork skills.
- You are willing and able to work overtime hours including weekends as required to support business goals.
What Makes You Stand Out:
- A Bachelor’s Degree in supply chain management or other relevant business degree.
- Previous manufacturing/agriculture/customer service/shipping/logistics experience.
- SAP experience.
