Dog Gone Problems, an Omaha-based dog behavior company, has a position for a Booking Coordinator open. #Readytohire

We are looking for a master multi-tasker with excellent written and verbal communication skills and a positive attitude to join our Booking Coordinator office.

Primary job duties include booking in-home dog behavior help, scheduling clients for in-home training, enrolling parents into puppy classes and being a helpful and positive presence in the workplace. You may also occasionally handle light office administrative duties.

Shift hours are:
12 PM - 7 PM Monday - Thursday
10 AM - 2 PM Saturdays
Candidate MUST be availbale to work these specified hours.

The majority of this job involves explaining our services, answering questions and scheduling appointments over the phone so you need to have excellent verbal and written communication skills and truly enjoy communicating with people.

This is a fast paced and rewarding job that requires attention to detail while also being efficientient while maintaining a friendly interaction with the client. Our customers love us and are easy to work with.

To be a successful part of our team, candidates should be organized, dependable, intelligent, professional, friendly and energetic with a great work ethic. A problem-solver who enjoys a sometimes fast paced job. They should always be prepared and responsive, willing to meet each challenge with a forward-thinking approach.

The candidate must be comfortable with computers, being on the telephone, social media communication, general office tasks and be willing to assist in other areas of the business as needed. Most importantly, our ideal candidate should be a dog-loving, people person with a genuine desire to help our company grow and grow with us.

Initial pay based on previous experience and skills. You will receive a raise folowing your 90 day evelauation period.

We like to promote from within and as fast as we are growing, we will need to add a secondary booking person that will report to you within a few months.
This is an in person position, but some work from home work is possible after training is complete.

Responsibilities included (but not limited to):

  • Booking in home dog behavior and training sessions.
  • Scheduling clients in one of our puppy classes.
  • Answering new client questions and concerns.
  • Assisting the owner of the company as needed with office support.

Requirements:

  • Able to work the hours specified above consistently.
  • Live inside the Omaha metro area.
  • Minimum of 1 years of scheduling administrative, receptionist and / or office management
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Passion to help us help dogs and their guardians
  • Current vaccination for Covid.
  • Attention to detail
