Scheduling Coordinator

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Scheduling Coordinator. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the scheduling and coordination of appointments in a medical office setting.

- Schedule and coordinate patient appointments, ensuring efficient use of time slots
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date schedules for healthcare providers
- Communicate with patients to confirm appointments and provide necessary instructions
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure smooth patient flow and minimize wait times
- Manage incoming calls and inquiries related to scheduling
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations when handling patient information
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and record-keeping

Skills
To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills:

- Experience in medical scheduling or similar administrative role
- Proficient in front desk operations and customer service
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and ability to handle sensitive information with
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work well in a team environment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
