We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Scheduling Coordinator. As a Scheduling Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our office by managing schedules, coordinating appointments, and providing administrative support. If you have experience in an office or medical setting and possess excellent organizational skills, we encourage you to apply. Willing to train for the right person at a training wage.
Duties:
- Manage and maintain appointment schedules for patients
- Coordinate with healthcare providers to schedule patient appointments
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of patient information in medical records systems such as Dentrix, Epic, or Eaglesoft
- Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries regarding appointments and scheduling
- Provide administrative support such as filing, data entry, and maintaining office supplies
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure efficient workflow and patient satisfaction
- Follow up with patients regarding appointment reminders or rescheduling as needed
- Adhere to confidentiality guidelines when handling sensitive patient information
- Assist with other administrative tasks as assigned
Skills:
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
- Experience working in a dental or medical office setting preferred
- Familiarity with electronic medical records system Dentrix Ascend
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to multitask and work well under pressure
