Salon Receptionist

We are seeking a friendly and organized Salon Receptionist to join our team at ONYX Hair Studio. As the first point of contact for our clients, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of our salon.

Responsibilities:

- Greet and welcome clients with a warm and friendly demeanor

- Check-in clients for their appointments and assist with any inquiries or concerns

- Schedule appointments efficiently, coordinating with stylists and clients to find suitable time slots

- Manage incoming phone calls and emails, addressing client inquiries and confirming appointments

- Handle cash transactions, process payments, and maintain accurate billing records

- Maintain a clean and organized reception area, ensuring it reflects the salon's high standards

- Assist stylists and salon staff by coordinating schedules and managing client flow

- Collaborate with the team to ensure overall salon success

Requirements:

- Proven experience in a customer service or receptionist role

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities

- Proficient in using salon management software or similar scheduling systems

- Knowledge of hair salon services and products is a plus

- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment

- Professional appearance and demeanor

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $16.50 per hour

Expected hours: 25 – 30 per week
