Responsibilities:

• Greeting clients, and supporting them through the check-in to check-out process
• Handling of POS and booking system, as well as booking by walk-ins, phone and email
• Maintaining an updated Salon booking schedule with the hairstylists availability
• Update client records with contact and billing details, appointments and services offered
• Maintaining a streamlined schedule through effective customer relationship, following-up visit schedules and cancellations
• Inform clients about new services and discounts.
• Retail goods and products
• Inventory management: Ordering retail goods from the central office, and consumables through online purchases. Receiving packages, labeling, stocking retail and consuming goods and products
• Helping hairstylists in maintaining clean station areas
• Point of contact with social-media and marketing partners and assist in gathering media and contents
• Issuing haircut certificates, preparing and passing out rewards, gifts and balloons to the kids
• Creating an environment where children feel at ease and parents trust the salon staff with their children's care through engaging and communicating effectively with young clients and providing exceptional customer service by understanding and accommodating the specific needs of them and their parents
• Work together with colleagues to enhance the salon's success and ambiance while keeping a tidy and orderly workspace, guaranteeing a clean and sanitary setting for the safety and well-being of both customers and the team

Qualifications:

• Being a team-player, and be able to work in a fast-paced, child-friendly environment
• Ability to clearly and effectively communicate with children at their level, as well as with parents or guardians
• Prior experience as a salon coordinator is a plus, including inventory management, marketing, customer service, and POS system handling

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 24 per week
