Salon Receptionist

Orange County’s top hair extension salon is expanding and looking for enthusiastic and professional individuals to join our front desk staff as an assistant manager. The ideal candidate must be detail oriented, resourceful, responsible, self-motivated, trustworthy, computer savvy, and a quick learner. Must also have a positive outgoing personality and amazing customer service skills.

You will be the primary point of contact between the salon clients and the salon team. You should be capable to manage customers with elegance, even amid peak demand hours. You will assist us in boosting our reputation by building friendly relationships with clients.

Responsibilities:

• Book appointments for stylists with attention to detail
• Strong multitasking skills
• Extensive knowledge of all hair extensions, extension method, and products throughout the salon
• Process cash and credit card transactions and issue receipts
• Key holder responsibilities
• Maintain professional appearance
• Customer service savvy

Skills

• Proven work experience as a Salon Receptionist, Front Desk Representative or similar role
• Hands-on experience with office equipment, like printers and POS systems
• Familiarity with processing transactions
• Excellent communication abilities (verbal, phone and email) with a customer service attitude
• Solid organization and record-keeping skills
• An ability to remain calm under stressful circumstances
• High School diploma

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $18.50 per hour
