Sunergy is currently seeking an experienced and dynamic Vice President of Sales to lead our sales team. The Vice President of Sales will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth by developing and executing strategic sales initiatives, expanding our customer base, and maximizing sales opportunities in the solar energy sector. This leadership position offers the opportunity to lead a talented sales team and contribute to the continued success and growth of our company.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and business objectives.
- Lead and mentor the sales team, providing guidance, support, and training to maximize performance and productivity.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships, and market segments to expand our customer base and market presence.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, and industry associations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between sales, marketing, product development, and customer service initiatives.
- Analyze market trends, customer feedback, and competitive intelligence to inform sales strategies and product development efforts.
- Oversee the sales forecasting, budgeting, and reporting processes to track performance and drive continuous improvement.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field; MBA preferred.
- Proven track record of success in sales leadership roles, with a minimum of 8 years of experience in B2C sales, preferably in the renewable energy or solar industry.
- Strong leadership abilities with demonstrated experience in building, managing, and motivating high-performing sales teams.
- Deep understanding of sales methodologies, processes, and best practices, with the ability to drive results in a competitive market environment.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex concepts to diverse audiences.
- Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset and the ability to develop and execute actionable sales plans.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to leverage data and metrics to drive informed decision-making.
- Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing business priorities.
- Knowledge of solar energy industry trends, technologies, and regulatory landscape is a plus.
