Position Summary:
The Sales Support Specialist supporting the Commercial Sales team will report to the Sr. Manager, Inside Sales Operations. This position supports the Commercial Sales team in responding to RFQs, completing product cross references and managing other bid related activities. The Specialist will also support the Sales team by completing various other administrative tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
Supporting the business development efforts between the sales representative and external customers through processing of bids, RFQ’s, urgent quote and large order requests
Manage and prioritize requests from Sales and customers.
Work closely with Sales and key customers to provide the best solution to meet their needs.
Provide support and assistance to fellow team members and departments, in order to meet company/team goals.
Perform other tasks as identified.
Required Qualifications:
Associate’s degree is required.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
Able to use software applications like MS Outlook, Excel, Word
Familiarity with Mainframe, Digital Front Office and Sales Force preferred.
Strong focus on teamwork and ability to manage relationships across multiple departments.
Ability to work accurately, with interruptions, to meet deadlines.
Strong written and verbal communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail
Ability to exercise flexibility, initiative, good judgment, and discretion.
Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quick response to deadlines.
