Job Title: Sales Support Specialist

Reports To: Sales Manager
Penn-Union Co. LLC is a designer and manufacturer of electrical connectors and related equipment with headquarters in Edinboro, PA. The Sales Support Specialist position is responsible for interacting with customers to provide information in response to inquiries about company products. Providing excellent customer service for customers by utilizing in-depth knowledge of company products and services as well as communicating effectively with team members in a high paced environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Confer with customers by telephone or email to provide information about products or services.
- Generate quotes, processing purchase orders, updating any order changes and issuing product RMA’s according to established department policies and procedures.
- Provides timely and accurate information to incoming customer order status and product knowledge requests. Contact customers to respond to inquires or to notify them of any planned adjustments
- Receives inquiries from and/or contacts the related departments or offices to resolve any order-related issues. Check to ensure that appropriate changes were made to resolve customer’s problem.
- Work with other departments in communicating WIP (work in process) status to customers.
- Build and maintain long-term customer relationships and forge alliance with new customers.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed to meet and exceed customer’s service expectations.
- Maintain accurate and detailed files as required
- Must be able to communicate with internal team and external customers in a professional manner.
- Must be accurate in order entry.
