Sales Support Manager- Storyliving by Disney-Cotino™

The Disney Signature Experiences Team champions new business development projects and growth initiatives, diversifying the Disney Experiences portfolio. At Disney, we‘re storytellers. Cotino™, a Storyliving by Disney™ community, is currently under construction in the Greater Palm Springs area. The brilliant mountain-ringed valley was once a rejuvenating retreat for Walt and Lillian Disney. The architecture and amenities of the community will reflect the history and present-day inspiration of the rich valley culture.

As the Sales Support Manager for Storyliving by Disney-Cotino™, this role encompasses various responsibilities. Ensuring an exceptional guest and cast experience and fostering close collaboration with new home builders are crucial aspects. Collaboration with select builder representatives and General Managers is key to maintaining seamless communication channels with our cast and leadership team. Additionally, leading the promotion and sales efforts for all Club memberships and introducing an Experience Advisor to new homeowners are essential duties.

Responsibilities also involve partnering with various customers, including the Sales Operations Manager, Sales guides, builders, marketing, community ops teams, and other site team members. The overarching goal is to establish a cohesive and efficient process from contract signing to post-closing support, all under the mentorship of the Sales Director, ensuring that homebuyers have a smooth and delightful purchasing journey at Storyliving by Disney-Cotino™.

This position is based in Palm Springs, California.

You Will:

  • Collaborate with the Contracts Team to draft and deliver contracts promptly.

  • Ensure seamless coordination with the Escrow Team for timely delivery of electronic instructions for earnest deposits.

  • Extend a warm Welcome Home Call to new buyers, introducing them to the vibrant Cotino™ community.

  • Arrange Design Center Appointments with buyers, ensuring completion within agreed-upon timelines.

  • Facilitate communication with builders to monitor progress at the Design Center.

  • Follow up with buyers regarding their acceptance into the best-in-class Artisan Club and arrange pre-construction meetings with Builder Representatives.

  • Conduct proactive service touchpoint calls to address any inquiries or concerns from buyers.

  • Provide timely updates to buyers on the completion of the framing stage via email notifications.

  • Perform delight check-in calls with buyers after pre-drywall orientations to ensure their satisfaction.

  • Confirm buyer satisfaction and promptly address any concerns in collaboration with builders.

  • Keep buyers advised through email notifications regarding the completion of the drywall stage and finishes/upgrades installation.

  • Schedule and coordinate walkthrough appointments, ensuring buyers' enjoyment and addressing any questions or issues.

  • Coordinate the installation of exterior landscaping for buyers, capturing and delivering photos of the completed work.

  • Offer support through service touchpoint calls to assist buyers with escrow, lender, and moving-related matters.

  • Schedule in-person appointments with builders to complete punch lists and ensure buyer satisfaction.

  • Coordinate the delivery of keys and welcome home gifts, providing a flawless transition for buyers.

  • Provide ongoing support and coordination for member services and HOA contacts.

  • Conduct post-closing move-in support calls, facilitating introductions to member services and HOA liaisons.

You Will Have:

  • Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills.

  • Proficiency in Salesforce, Avaya Phone, Outlook, Excel, DocuSign, SharePoint, Choice Screening, and Zendesk platforms.

  • 3+ years of experience leading sales teams.

  • Experience in real estate, construction, or related fields.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of proven success in new home sales.

  • 3+ years of experience in construction management or basic home construction.

  • Valid California real estate license.

Required Education:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent, MBA preferred.

The hiring range for this position in Palm Springs, CA is $102,000.00 to $136,700.00 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
