Our client, a global Japanese trading company is looking for a Support and Logistics Coordinator in the Houston TX area to join their team
Title: Sales Support & Logistics Coordinator
Industry: Renewables Trading
Type: Full Time Direct Hire Non-Exempt
Location: Houston TX
Salary:
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 3+ years of experience with bulk marine shipments
- Experience with import and export operations required
- Strong knowledge of shipping documentation required including experience with marine bill of ladings
- SAP experience
- Spanish language ability preferred
- Experience with certificate of origin, commercial invoicing and certification of quality/quantity
- College Degree
JOB DUTIES:
- Coordinate schedule and operations between customers, suppliers, freight forwarders and ship brokers
- Input payments, billing and inventory in the SAP system
- Customer registration into the accounting system
- Coordinate business transactions between international and local offices.
- Prepare required documents related to shipment and trade including validating letter of credit
- Complete shipping documentations for import and exports
