THE OPPORTUNITY

Silvus is currently recruiting a Sales Operations Manager who will report to the Vice President of Sales. The  Sales Operations Manager will lead the Sales Administration Team and oversee the operational efficiency of the Sales Department. This role requires a dynamic leader who can support organizational growth, enhance CRM processes, and drive sales productivity.

This position is on a hybrid schedule, a minimum of 3 days onsite per week is expected. On-site days are Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. The location for this role is Silvus Technologies' HQ in the heart of vibrant West Los Angeles.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
    • Provide leadership, guidance, and support to the sales administrative team.
    • Conduct performance reviews and support team members in achieving their professional goals.
    • Manage the sales order lifecycle from initiation to post-sales support.
    • Oversee the use and continual enhancement of CRM systems to ensure alignment with sales strategies.
    • Generate and analyze sales reports to identify trends, forecast sales, and support strategic decisions.
    • Enhance sales processes and policies to improve overall sales department performance.
    • Ensure compliance with legal and export regulations in coordination with the legal department.
    • Serve as the point of contact for escalated customer service issues.
    • Mentor and develop the sales administrative team, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
    • High School Diploma or GED with 8 years of experience in Sales Operations or business development; OR combination of bachelor's or advanced degree with 4 years of experience in Sales Operations or business development.
    • Minimum 2 years of experience managing a team.
    • Demonstrated experience in sales analytics and CRM management.
    • Proven track record of implementing process improvements in a sales context.
    • Advanced proficiency in CRM systems and sales analytics tools.
    • Strong understanding of sales processes and customer service excellence.
    • Proactive problem-solving abilities with a strategic mindset.
    • Expertise in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, and familiarity with database management.
    • Exceptional leadership and motivational skills.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Occasional travel may be required for sales events or team meetings.

    • NOTE - Must be a U.S. Citizen due to clients under U.S. government contracts. Employment is contingent upon the successful clearance of a background check.
PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES
    • Certification in Sales Operations (CSOP) or similar is a plus.
    • The ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance is a plus.
$80,000 - $100,000 a year
The pay range is NOT a guarantee. It is based on market research and peer data and will vary depending on the candidate's experience and qualifications.
