Sales Operations Coordinator

A Sales Operations Coordinator working for WKYC TV will enjoy a fast-paced, dynamic environment. The chosen candidate will support all operational functions of the Sales Department across Local, National and Digital teams. This role provides a well-rounded learning experience for those interested in a career in media that includes collaboration with The Sales Management Team, Account Executives, Account Managers, Sales Production, and clients. The chosen candidate must have strong interpersonal skills, be organized, and driven to help the team succeed. Duties may include but are not limited to:
Responsibilities:

• Provide support to sales department for pre- and post-sale activity including proposals, campaign implementation, maintenance, and review.
• Interaction with existing advertising agencies and direct clients; this responsibility includes maintenance of client linear and digital schedules in addition to implementation of special projects and promotions.
• Works in tandem with Managers, Account Executives and Account Managers to support client & departmental needs.
• Coordinates with team to accurately set up new customer accounts, contracts, order entry and revisions.
• Help facilitate an accurate schedule of customers' linear and digital advertising assets.
• Assists team with maintenance of contracts, generating avails, traffic, make-goods, collections and overall customer service.
• Regular tracking of client audience delivery campaign fulfillment.
• Able to make decisions and solve problems independently to support customer needs.
• Self-motivation and willingness to work as a team player are essential attributes. Creativity, flexibility, and ability to change with our industry are also keys to success.
• Take ownership of fulfillment in such a way that the AE can play their role of being client-facing, creating opportunities and closing revenue.
• Attends sales meetings and trainings to obtain sales, product and process information and keep abreast of company products and services to articulate to client, when appropriate.
• Other duties/responsibilities as assigned.

Job Requirements:

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Detail-oriented and able to work in a fast-paced environment under deadline pressure.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team as well as independently. .
• Ability to effectively solve problems.
• High energy and self-motivated
• Position requires strong written and verbal communication skills, as well as strong organization and time management.
• High school diploma required (college degree preferred)
• Linear or digital advertising experience preferred.
• Work Environment: Office

Physical Demands: Light work
Travel: Rarely: less than 10%
Work Environment Set: Office: normally performed in a typical interior/office environment
Physical Demands Set: Light work: Involves sitting most of the time, walking, lifting, bending, standing, etc.
