As the Sales Development Representative Team Lead, you will be a player/coach and play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and executing on projects and programs for the SDR team within our LexisNexis Business Solutions (LBS) software division. A successful candidate will be a sales leader who is an analytical thinker, has a passion for hiring and developing talent, and is a natural motivator that inspires team members to achieve their goals.
What You’ll Do
- Develop a deep knowledge and understanding of LBS products and service offerings
- Perform daily SDR responsibilities as lead SDR
- Hire and help onboard new SDR team members responsible for inbound and outbound engagements
- Manage, coach, and support the SDR team to ensure they are articulating our vision and achieving their targets; be the go to person for the SDR team when they have questions or needs
- Oversee usage of SDR team systems including CRM and other sales execution tools
- Develop and refine metrics for success for assigned projects and programs, monitor and report on team activity
- Work cross-functionally with our sales, marketing, operations, and enablement teams to identify and make improvements in the areas of messaging, process, and productivity
- Help create a fun, high energy environment where people love coming to work
What You Bring to the Team
- 2+ years of experience of leading or managing an inbound/outbound SDR team
- Consistent track record of exceeding quota as an SDR, lead or manager
- Experience hiring, on-boarding, and training Sales Development professionals
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Solid understanding of inbound/outbound pipeline generation and support processes
- Experience with CRM and other sales, research, and productivity systems
- High level of self-motivation, ownership, and adaptability with the ability to handle multiple responsibilities
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- An enthusiastic and vibrant attitude that will motivate and retain SDR team members
