Summary:
As an outbound activity based Sales Development Representative (SDR) you will report to the BDR Manager.Your primary responsibilities are generating interest in our products, educating prospects about Securly's suite of products, building relationships, and building brand recognition of Securly, primarily to K-12 school districts. The primary target audience is the technology/security directors of school districts.
This role is a work-from-home (remote) with core workings hours of Monday to Friday 8-5pm of the region you support.
What You Will Do:
- Perform 50+ cold calls daily, send e-mails and build relationships while introducing our solutions to K-12 schools districts
- Set up 20+ appointments for the account executives in the region you support
- Generate client call lists through researching and the use off tools
- Partner with marketing to handle inbound leads and generate e-mail marketing campaigns.
- Actively seek and employ a growth mindset to understand and improve sales methodology through trainings, role plays and other means
- Partner with account executives and to learn the product and territory sales strategy, to improve the success.
- Represent yourself and Securly accurately and with a positive helpful and friendly demeanor.
- Utilize and document SalesForce, Outreach.io and other tools in an accurate and timely manner
Preferred Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:
- Significant K-12 teaching /administration experience or EdTech SDR experience is highly preferred
- Cold calling or sales experience preferred but not mandatory
- 4-year college degree preferred
- Desire to grow into quota carrying sales professional
