Responsibilities:
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children and youth
- Develop and implement age-appropriate activities and programs
- Assist with homework and provide tutoring support
- Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and staff
- Teach and educate children on various subjects, workforce development, special education, and early childhood education
- Manage program area behavior and maintain a structured learning environment
- Ensure the physical and emotional well-being of all children in your care
- Administer first aid when necessary
Requirements:
- Experience working with children in a professional setting
- Knowledge of sports, special education, early childhood education, or related fields
- Familiarity with classroom management techniques
- Ability to create engaging and educational activities for children of different ages
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and staff
- First aid certification is preferred
- Ability to pass a background check
