About us:
Baker Aviation, an ARGUS Platinum and ISBAO certified Charter/Management company that specializes in high end private aircraft travel, is seeking a customer service driven sales coordinator to join our team!
Essential Functions:
Request charter quotes from third party providers via phone, email, and/or web.
Develop an expert understanding of the aircraft in our fleet as well as available aircraft in the charter market (i.e. range, capacity, necessary runway length etc.)
Ensure that trips are scheduled on aircraft that meet owner expectations and specifications.
Identify and escalate issues of immediate importance to operations management and client services.
Negotiate pricing to optimize buying strategies.
Establish strong working relationships with charter vendors as well as develop new relationships.
Ensure Baker Aviation safety standards are met by vendors prior to every trip.
Flight follows every trip to ensure on time performance.
Audit and approve invoices for payment.
Monitor vendor performance and contract compliance.
Provide excellent customer service through prompt communication and fanatical attention to detail.
Perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.
Essential Qualifications:
Associate degree or equivalent from a 2-year college or technical school; 1-3 years of related experience preferably in an aviation/logistics environment; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Knowledge of FARs in regard to Part 91, 121, or 135 airline operations is preferred.
At least 2 years of charter sales experience required
Prior experience with JetInsight required
Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Office products and the aptitude to learn customized company software programs.
