Definition and Nature of the Work

The Sales Coordinator will be responsible for working with various customers, brokers, and the entire DBC team, to provide accurate and timely information. She/he will be responsible for receiving, inputting and confirming orders in a timely manner. This position requires a person that is flexible in their schedule, as she/he will be asked to take on many tasks. She/he will need to be professional and courteous, as this position works directly with customers, brokers and suppliers as well as coordinates with sales, operations and shipping.

Act to ensure that DBC products meet or exceed the requirements and expectations of customers in a consistent manner.

Sales Coordinator reports to SVP of Sales which will assign appropriate personnel to cover his/her duties in his/her absence.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Receive and process purchase orders; transfer to production.
• Confirm orders (both broker and customer)
• Track orders (monitor late orders and make sales team aware of any issues. Make warehouse aware of ship early orders.)
• Export shipping documents (Certificate of Origin, Certificates of Free Sale, Pro forma invoices, etc.)
• Adjust/update sales forecast and monitor for potential errors.
• Send out samples for salesmen, food shows, etc. (all sample requests)
• Compile and distribute daily reports to DBC team
• Assist in completing various paperwork for the sales team.
• Lead/coordinate sales projects and work with Marketing.
• Update sales spreadsheets (New account updates, ACV updates, etc.)
• Consumer feedback.
• Update CRM on a daily basis.

Minimum requirements

· Bachelor’s Degree in a related field

· Ability to pass background check.

· Drug Screening Required.

· Exceptional attention to detail.

· Proactive and organized

· Computer Skills: Proficient in Excel & Power Point.

· Excellent Written & Oral Skills

· Ability to achieve timelines and accomplish goals

· Self-motivated and driven

· Work hours are Monday – Friday 7:30am to 4:30pm. Occasional overtime and travel.
