Maximus Building Supply - a family owned, faith based organization - is seeking a Sales Coordinator - millwork or construction industry experience, preferred.
GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
Responsible for excellent customer service, data entry of orders (doors & windows) from salesmen and customers for quotes, shipping, invoicing, and answering telephones.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Processing customer/vendor requests
- Ensuring accurate & efficient data entry of quotes and orders
- Working with company salesmen to schedule deliveries
- File set-up and management
- Reconciliation of P.O. and monitoring to ensure payment
- Sourcing product needed to fill job requirements
- Answering customer/vendor phone calls and responding/forwarding as appropriate
- Assisting walk-in customers in showroom and will calls
- Other duties as assigned
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES:
- Computer Skills: POS System, Inventory System, Microsoft 365
- High attention to detail
- Respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions; interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
- Excellent customer service and teamwork skills
- Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment with multiple interruptions
REQUIREMENTS:
- High School Graduate or GED
- Minimum 1 year previous experiencing data entry of millwork materials, quotes, invoicing, preferred.
