Plato's Closet is all about being fashion savvy and shopping smart. We're part of a nationwide unique recycling retail store specializing in clothes for teens and twenty somethings we buy and sell the latest looks in clothing and accessories from the hottest brand name designers for girls and guys.
- Greet customers immediately, determine their needs, and handle all transactions in a professional and enthusiastic manner. Assist customers on the sale floor and at the dressing rooms.
- Become familiar with products, brands and prices and make recommendations of products, including their features and benefits, to suit customers needs. Maximize sales and customer satisfaction by adding items to the close of the sale.
- Reinforce the customers purchases to the store. Invite customer to return to the store to buy, sell, or trade and promote image of store concept.
- Actively participate in the ongoing processing of merchandise. Price and ticket items appropriately based on pricing/buying guidelines. Restock store following merchandising plan.
- Create and maintain dressing mannequins, interior and window displays.
- Assist in keeping the store neat, including ongoing straightening of the merchandise and specific cleaning tasks as assigned.
- Assist with store security, which involves, but is not limited to, practicing loss prevention techniques, monitoring the sales floor and dressing rooms.
- Develop proficiency and perform all point of sale related tasks, which involves but is not limited to: counting cash, making change, returns and operating the DRS system.
- Achieve personal and store sales goals by applying sound customer service and sales protocol.
- Energetically answer the phone, respond to questions about our concept while providing as much information about our buy process as possible.
