TITLE OF JOB: Event Planner/Community Outreach Mgr
LOCATION: Chicagoland IL
SUMMARY:
A dynamic and established franchisee of Wingstop is in search of an individual with robust experience in Event
Planning and Community Outreach. We seek a creative and meticulously organized event planner to assist in
orchestrating memorable events aimed at enhancing brand recognition, fostering business connections, and
elevating employee engagement. Your duties will include ideating event concepts, managing budgets, coordinating
with vendors, interfacing with clients, and ensuring seamless execution of each event.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Event Planner/Community Outreach Manager will lead as an expert multitasker with impeccable attention to
detail. The ideal candidate for this role will possess an extraordinary ability to foresee risks and anticipate needs,
ensuring that attendees are impressed and entirely satisfied by the conclusion of each event. Identifying clients'
requirements and expectations for each event.
- Identifying clients' requirements and expectations for each event.
- Brainstorming and implementing event concepts and themes.
- Preparing event budgets and managing invoices.
- Researching and securing venues.
- Coordinating suppliers, caterers, staff, and entertainment.
- Managing all logistical elements of the event.
- Overseeing set-up, tear-down, and clean-up operations.
- Anticipating attendee needs and mitigating potential risks.
- Developing post-event reports to assess the effectiveness of each event.
REQUIREMENTS:
3-5 years of direct or similar Event Planning experience preferred in a restaurant, hotel or like retail type of
business environment. In addition, experiences include:
- Proven project management experience with a history of successful events.
- Outstanding organizational abilities enabling effective multitasking under pressure.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Innovative, out-of-the-box thinking.
- Capability to lead and delegate tasks efficiently within a large team.
- Meticulous attention to detail.
- Expertise in time management.
- Financial acumen, proficient in adhering to budgetary plans and processing invoices.
EDUCATION:
Bachelor’s Degree is preferred.
