Job Description: Will serve as Shift Supervisor and responsible for performing Shift Supervisory duties as well as ensure required shift staffing coverage. This program provides services to adults with severe and persistent mental illness, substance related disorder and persons with co-occurring mental health and substance use needs. This is a locked/secured program designed to provide (24) hour crisis, psychiatric and substance abuse stabilization services.
Position Responsibilities: Will work Monday - Friday, 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM.
Competencies: Ability to assess, plan for, and provide basic nursing skills; knows procedures including developing, implementing and revising plan of care. Knowledge of nursing policies, procedures, protocols, treatments, standards of care and nurse practice act. Knowledge of the procedures for medication administration and can administer oral, subcutaneous, sublingual and IM medications, knowledge of pharmacology. Knowledge of immunization regulations and protocols. Must be computer proficient.
Required Minimum Qualifications: Must have a valid Georgia RN license with no limitations. Two years nursing experience and one year of supervisory experience. Must be at least 21 years old. Must have a valid in-state driver's license and have a driving record with no more than 6 points.
